First off, I want to say
"hi" to ALL my classmates who made those high school years so memorable for me.
When I read the info on everyone, I come away with great memories of the people
and special times. I always leave Steve's great website smiling.
And now for a quick re-cap of the last 44 years. Off to Colgate University, returned to settle in Cortland. Came back to teach and had success and great times in the Moravia, Cortland, and Homer schools.
Had three great kids, Mike,
Michelle, and Amy. Left teaching and went into an accounting and tax business
during the '80's. I have such good memories from those years in Cortland- living
there; working there, and coaching for CHS and Homer. Big thrills came coaching
my son, Mike, in CHS football. Also it was so much fun to see Michelle cheer at
the football and basketball games alongside her cousins and to watch her play
sports for CHS with them. And yes, my kids even had some of our teachers who I
had and also taught with !
Left Cortland for the sunny Virginia Beach and lived there until '01. Was in
business and also taught while living there. Watched my daughter, Amy, transform
into a "beach girl" and excel at sports and in school.
Before I knew it, the kids all grew up, graduated from colleges and other
programs, and were off on their own successful paths in life- in DC area and in
Colorado. All three of them make me proud of what they are doing with their
lives and what they are accomplishing.
Came back to New York in '01, settled in the Rochester area to teach and coach
in the Pittsford schools, met an outstanding lady, Jacque, and re-married.
Before I knew it, our family had grown by leaps and bounds- nine grandchildren
and counting ! It is such fun to be around Jacque, all nine of our children, and
our grandkids
Will retire soon and hope to travel, antique, and do all the things that a
retired grandpa does with his wife, kids, and grandchildren !
Looking forward to seeing people at the re-union and hearing from those who can't make it ! By the way, has anyone heard from Wayne Homer, Mike Kovalchick, Bob Canale or any of the rest of the guys?
